Tune In to Musical Performances, Concerts and Music Festivals this Winter Season

The Florida Keys is an exciting destination for music lovers this season with a variety of musical performances, concerts and music festivals. The Studios of Key West, located on 533 Eaton St., is hosting renowned performers such as Libby York, Amanda McBroom, and Jake Shimabukuro. Impromptu Classical Concerts of Key West is presenting stellar chamber music artists, ensembles, and string orchestras at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 401 Duval St. Singer, songwriter and guitarist Jim Messina will be performing at Key West Theater Feb. 17.
For those in search of bigger names, Rams Head Presents Key West is featuring Firefall, Jim Messina, and Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives at the Key West Theater at 512 Eaton St. The Coffee Butler Amphitheater, located at 21 E. Quay Road, has an impressive lineup including Jimmy Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band, Willie Nelson, and Old Dominion. The South Florida Symphony Orchestra will be performing two concerts at the Tennessee Williams Theatre (Feb. 18, March 25).
For a more relaxed outdoor experience, the Florida Keys Community Concert Band is hosting free public "Pops in the Park" concerts. These concerts are pet-friendly and feature performances such as "The Simon & Garfunkel Story" and "What a Wonderful World". In addition, the annual Afro Roots Fest is scheduled to take place April 27-29 and the Key West Songwriters Festival will be occurring May 3-7.
For an unforgettable music experience, the Florida Keys is the place to be this winter season. With its variety of performances, concerts, and festivals, there is something for everyone.
