Get Ready for a Lobster-Fueled Extravaganza at Key West Lobsterfest, Aug. 8-11


Craving some fresh Florida seafood? The annual Key West Lobsterfest is back, running from Thursday to Sunday, August 8-11, promising a claw-some time with a range of lobster-themed events.

What's on the Menu?

Thursday, Aug. 8 - Kick things off at 6 p.m. with a traditional lobster boil at Caroline’s Café, set in the historic Porter Mansion courtyard. Enjoy jumbo shrimp, corn on the cob, redskin potatoes, and jalapeño cornbread, with live entertainment and drink specials to keep the vibe going.

Friday, Aug. 9 - Dive into a pool party from 3-6 p.m. at The Marker Key West Harbor Resort. Later, join the Duval Pub Crawl, exploring popular spots in Key West’s downtown and Historic Seaport areas.

Saturday, Aug. 10 - The main event! From noon to 11 p.m., Duval Street transforms into a lobster lover’s paradise. Sample a variety of lobster dishes from local chefs and sip cool drinks from bar booths. Don’t miss the free outdoor concert from 1-10:30 p.m. featuring bands like Just George, Fried Newt, and headliners The DurtBags.

Sunday, Aug. 11 - Wrap up the weekend with a gourmet lobster brunch buffet at First Flight Island Restaurant & Brewery (reservations required). In the afternoon, chill at the Southernmost Beach Resort for a lobster boil and pool party, complete with a large lobster tail, unlimited sides, a cold drink, and poolside activities.
