The Florida Keys are known for their turquoise waters, stunning sunsets, and laid-back island vibe—but this year, they’re also a hotspot for top-tier theater. The 2025 performing arts season is packed with musicals, comedies, and dramas that promise to entertain locals and travelers alike.

In the Upper Keys, The Key Players bring romance to the stage with Almost, Maine (Feb. 27–March 9), a charming collection of love stories set in a magical small town. Key West’s legendary Red Barn Theatre presents a feminist twist on Sherlock Holmes in Ms. Holmes and Ms. Watson, Apt. 2B (through Feb. 22), while the Waterfront Playhouse dives into screwball comedy with The Angel Next Door (through Feb. 8) and the Broadway classic La Cage Aux Folles (Feb. 26–March 22).
