Art Strolls Throughout the Keys Showcase Unparalleled Creativity

The Florida Keys are known for their creative artwork and beautiful landscapes. This season, art strolls throughout the Keys showcase the unmatched talent and creativity of local artists.

The Stock Island Art Stroll on Saturday, Feb. 12, features tours of off-the-beaten path art studios in the Lower Keys’ Stock Island. The stroll includes stops at eclectic shops and studios with multiple artists in disciplines ranging from sculptures to woodworking, mosaics and fabric art.

In Key West, the Old Town Literary Walking Tour takes participants past sites, landmarks and hangouts of world-renowned writers who lived or spent considerable time in Key West. Tours currently are offered on Fridays and Sundays; private tours are available on request.

The Key West Art & Historical Society also offers Saturday morning Architectural Walking Tours celebrating the 200th anniversary of Key West’s settlement on March 25, 1822. Historic landmarks, including the Custom House Museum, 281 Front St., and architectural styles are highlighted.
