Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square

Key West's world-famous Sunset Celebration takes place every evening at Mallory Square close to the foot of Duval Street. Featuring both renowned local and international artists and entertainers, the event invites visitors and locals alike to enjoy the sunset at water's edge. The event begins about two hours ahead of the sunset and ends soon after the sun sets. The performance takes place 365 days a year, every night of the week, weather permitting.

The Sunset Celebration is free to attend, but organizers request that attendees support local artists, performers and food vendors by purchasing their products and tipping buskers. Access to the Mallory Square parking lot is provided at a rate of $6 per hour. However, visitors are advised to park on the street and walk in as the lot can be congested during sunset hours. The easiest way to get to Mallory Square is by walking or bicycling, while still enjoying Key West's natural beauty.

Street performers, who create a colorful and entertaining atmosphere, do not get paid for their shows. Instead, the performers depend solely on tips from generous spectators to make a living. Therefore, it is recommended that everyone who enjoys a street performer's show simply leave a tip to support those who make this magical daily arts event possible.
