Rum Fest Key West

Rum Fest Key West returns for its highly anticipated Second Annual Key West Rum Fest, celebrating the island's legendary tropical vibes, mouthwatering seafood, and exceptional rums from around the globe. Scheduled from August 11 to August 17, 2025, this vibrant event combines premium rum tastings, captivating live performances, and unforgettable culinary experiences, all benefiting the local nonprofit MARC Inc., dedicated to empowering adults with developmental disabilities in the Florida Keys.

The festival’s centerpiece is the Grand Tasting Event, held at the iconic Key West Theater on Saturday, August 16, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Guests can savor an outstanding variety of rums from over 30 premier vendors, mingle with master distillers, and indulge in island-inspired cuisine. Additional highlights include sunset sails featuring live music from the Cory Heydon Band, rum tastings and master classes, the spirited Rum Cake Competition, and exciting sandbar trips with full bar service and entertainment.

For Hemingway enthusiasts, the festival offers exclusive Day Trips to Cuba on August 11th and 12th, guided by host Neil Lindley, featuring visits to Hemingway’s historic home, his favorite bars, and the original Pilar boat. Passports are required, with lunch and exclusive insights included. A special evening on August 14th features a Hemingway Life Story Dinner at Pilar Distillery, pairing Ernest Hemingway’s favorite dishes and cocktails with stories from his remarkable life.

Closing festivities include the luxurious Ti Punch Brunch presented by Clement Sipscapes on Sunday, August 17th, featuring unlimited master-crafted rum cocktails and a seven-course tasting menu at Southernmost Beach Resort.
