Key West Marlin Tournament

The 2025 Key West Marlin Tournament, now in its 44th year, promises an exciting blend of competitive fishing, camaraderie, and festivities from July 23-26, 2025. Held in conjunction with Key West's annual Hemingway Days, this renowned event offers anglers a chance to win a share of $260,000 in total cash prizes, with $50,000 dedicated to the Marlin Division. The tournament challenges participants to accumulate the most points over three days by catching blue marlin, white marlin, and spearfish, with the top crews sharing $40,000, including a $25,000 first-place prize. Additional rewards are available for those entering the Fun Fish Division, featuring prizes for the three heaviest catches across several categories. The event’s schedule includes:

• Wednesday, July 23: Registration at Opal Key Resort & Marina, followed by the Captain’s Meeting, cocktails, and an auction.
• Thursday, July 24: The traditional Bimini Start kicks off the first day of fishing, with lines in at 8:30 a.m. and weigh-ins at Stock Island Marina Village, concluding with a pig roast at El Siboney.
• Friday, July 25: Day two mirrors the previous day's fishing hours, with dinner at Hogfish Bar & Grill.
• Saturday, July 26: The final day features fishing until 3:00 p.m., followed by weigh-ins, a silent auction, and the closing awards banquet at Opal Key Resort & Marina.
