26th Annual Key West Lobsterfest
When: August 10 - August 13, 2023
Where: Duval St, Key West, FL 33040
Celebrate the opening of Lobster Season at the biggest party of the summer!
Seafood lovers can chow down on Florida’s clawless lobster during a tasty “feast-ival” that features a savory schedule of events ranging from a traditional lobster boil to a lively street fair starring the sensational crustacean prepared in a variety of ways. The flavorful festivities celebrate the bounty of the Florida Keys lobster season that opens Aug. 6. Famous for its sweet and tender meat, the Keys’ spiny lobster often is served steamed with drawn butter, paired with a seasoned stuffing or cold in savory salads.
Attend the annual seafood lobster boil on August 10, complete with a full bar, music, and delicious food. The lobster boil menu boasts fresh lobsters, jumbo Key West shrimp, red skin potatoes, fresh corn on the cob, fresh-baked jalapeno cornbread, and melted butter.
On Friday, August 11, the Lobsterfest Duval Crawl Pub Crawl event will kick off at 8 pm and continue until midnight. Participants can expect to receive an official 26th Annual Lobsterfest T-shirt, a souvenir Corona bottle opener/lanyard, and to enjoy fantastic drink specials on Corona and Skyy Vodka products at all participating bars. The cost is $20 in advance or $30 at the door, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Key West High School's Scholarship Fund.
The festivities will continue on August 12, with the Street Fair and Concert featuring arts and crafts from the 100-500 blocks of Duval Street. Local bars and restaurants will serve up fresh Florida Lobster with everything from appetizers to full meals. The event offers free admission, with no entrance fee, and food and drinks sold individually. The concert will feature performances from Just George, The Swerves, and The Durtbags.
