Celebrate the 36th Anniversary of the iconic Hemingway 5K Sunset Run in beautiful Key West, Florida, happening Saturday, July 26 through Sunday, July 27, 2025!
On Saturday, July 26, join participants from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm for race registration outside the vibrant Southernmost Beach Cafe at 1405 Duval Street. The excitement peaks at 7:30 pm with the thrilling start of the 5K Run/Walk at the picturesque Southernmost Point.
The festivities continue from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm with an unforgettable Awards and Beach Party outside Southernmost Beach Cafe. Revel in delightful tastings of Papa’s Pilar Rum, refreshing brews from Islamorada Beer, delicious snacks, exciting raffles, and live entertainment. Inside the cafe, guests will enjoy happy hour pricing on food and drinks throughout the evening.
On Sunday, July 27, the fun escalates at 12:00 pm with the Key West Beach N’ Beer Mile—a lively, untimed race consisting of four entertaining loops and four cold beers courtesy of Islamorada Beer Co. Participants receive a custom commemorative shirt and bib with four beer tickets, setting the stage for a casual, spirited afternoon on the beach outside Southernmost Beach Cafe. Costumes are highly encouraged, with fantastic prizes awarded for Best Team Spirit, Best Dressed, and Least Dressed!
Wrap up the weekend celebration with a relaxing Pool Party from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Rum Row, located at 3824 N Roosevelt Blvd. Enjoy drink specials crafted by Papa’s Pilar Rum while soaking in the tropical vibes of Key West.
