Experience Fresh Local Seafood and Live Music at the Florida Keys Seafood Festival

The Florida Keys Seafood Festival is a premier two-day celebration held at Key West’s Truman Waterfront Park, where the local fishing community showcases the freshest catch in the Keys. This annual event, taking place on February 15th and 16th, offers a vibrant mix of culinary delights, live music, family-friendly activities, and local arts and crafts—all set against the stunning backdrop of Key West.

Attendees can savor an impressive array of seafood dishes, including fried fish baskets, grilled spiny lobster platters, stone crab claws with key lime mustard sauce, and Bahamian-style conch chowder, alongside traditional offerings such as hot dogs and hamburgers. Complemented by an assortment of beverages—from craft beers and fine wines to signature frozen rumaritas made with First Legal Rum—there is a taste to please every palate.

The festival features a dynamic schedule of live entertainment. On Saturday, the event kicks off with a performance by headliner Maggie Baugh, followed by energetic sets from the Double Down Band, the electrifying Rock Legends The Tribute featuring the powerhouse vocalist Jade, and a high-energy performance by the local favorite, the Marshall Morlock Band. Sunday’s festivities continue with the Bahama Village Music Program, a tribute to the community’s musical heritage, followed by the versatile sounds of Uncle Rico and the upbeat party atmosphere of The Shane Duncan Band.

In addition to delicious food and memorable music, the festival offers a host of engaging activities. Guests have the opportunity to participate in a raffle for a chance to win $250 worth of seafood, explore unique vendor booths featuring local arts and crafts, and enjoy an interactive eco discovery zone designed especially for children. Admission is $10 per adult—granting access for both days and an entry into the raffle—with children under 12 admitted free. Proceeds support sustainable fisheries management programs and youth scholarships, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to community enrichment and environmental responsibility.

Supported by local businesses and sponsors, the Florida Keys Seafood Festival not only celebrates the bounty of the sea but also highlights the rich cultural and artistic heritage of the Keys. This family-friendly event is a must-attend for anyone looking to experience the best of local seafood, live entertainment, and community spirit in a relaxed and festive setting.
